Last week Jill and I spent 4 of 5 nights in a row at Ray Skillman GMC in Greenwood. It was really the marathon of car-buying, but it was well worth it. We originally only intended to go in and test drive a new GMC Envoy XL. With Madelyn on the way, plus Chase and all of his cargo, we decided to make the plunge to something with 3 rows of seats. We ended up buying a new GMC Envoy XL, and also ended up trading the Mustang in for it. It was sad to see the Mustang go, but they gave us a really good trade-in value, and with the little one on the way, it was really not a hard decision. The picture above is Chase's first time in the new ride - he's pretty much terrified of it (or maybe he's concerned about gas mileage).

Front view of the new ride. Actually the mileage is listed as 14/20 - so it's not hurting the environment any more than the Mustang did. Plus we used it to buy the crib on Saturday, so we already have taken advantage of the nice cargo area.

Side view of the new car. Jill will probably be the primary driver, but for now I'm driving it to work while we both get used to parking it and driving in traffic. It's pretty long, so it takes some getting used to, but on the other hand it handles pretty well, so it's not going to take long to learn.
